Dr. Michelle Thaller is a renowned astrophysicist, author, and science communicator who spent 27 years at NASA, serving as the Assistant Director for Science Communication at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. A native of Waukesha, Wisconsin, Michelle’s fascination with the night sky began here in the Midwest before leading her to Harvard, and ultimately, NASA.
Throughout her career, Michelle has worked to make the wonders of the universe accessible to everyone. She managed public outreach for the Spitzer Space Telescope at Caltech, hosted the popular podcast series Orbital Path, and is a frequent expert guest on shows like The Big Think, How the Universe Works, and the Joe Rogan Experience.
